my birthday

on my birthday, i awoke to a knock on my door. i got out of bed and answered my door in my underwear and bra. my friends exploded a bottle of confetti all over me and my bedroom. my friends are nuts. and my room was a mess. and so was i.
later that day, i took pictures in my room, throwing confetti and dancing with silver and sam. here are some of the pictures.

looks like it's been a while since i've posted on the blog....

i just got back from my interview for the yucatan program. i should be hearing back by the end of next week. keep your fingers crossed that i'll be in mexico, sleeping eating and breathing spanish, next winter!

a band from boston, called tall heights, came to our school last night. i liked them a lot. they are a duo- a guitarist and cello player. they harmonize so well together!

saturday night's event: reverie

this event was so magical! there were pictures up on projectors and lights strung all around the room. there were lamps in the corners and a big carpet on the floor where everyone sat and cuddled. all of the performers were wonderful- music, skits, poem reading, juggling. and they had these little benches set up for drawing. i made a doodle while i was there. i hope that you enjoy these photos that i took throughout the night!
